The Global Gateway Connect solution provides a quick and easy way to add payment capabilities to your website. Payment integration is simple and all transaction processing takes place on our servers.
It is a hosted payment page allowing Internet merchants to process transactions from their website by linking a merchants online store to a secure payment gateway.
Once integrated into your Website, all sensitive payment data is stored by First Data servers, which alleviates the risk associated with payment card compliance (PCI.)
How it Works
- Customer selects items from an online store to purchase. Customer is then transferred to a secure payment page/form, which is hosted on the “Connect” payment gateway.
- The gateway transmits the order and payment information to the credit card processing networks, and receives a response within 6 seconds confirming the transaction results.
- The customer reviews the receipt page and confirms the details of the approved credit card transaction.
- Once configured, the Global Gateway Connect posts all the order and payment information back to the merchant’s site.
- The customer can view the confirmation page on the merchant’s website with the details of the order and a reminder that the receipt has been mailed.
