Virtual Terminal
The Virtual Terminal is a hosted Internet payment services that gives merchants the ability to process payments using any Internet connected PC and a standard web browser; essentially turning the merchant’s PC into a POS terminal.
Since it is Internet based, it requires no software to install. Once you log in, you are ready to accept credit card or check payments.
Transactions can be keyed- in out of a MOTO/ Call Center/ Back Office Environment OR swiped in a Retail (face-to-face) environment by using a card reader, which would be connected to the USB port of the PC.
